What we believe

Orbit is filling with sensors, compute, and communication faster than anyone can coordinate them. What launch did for access to orbit, software must now do for access to its capability.

Every mission still threads its own path across operators, spacecraft, ground networks, compute environments, and constraints. The coordination work is rebuilt by each team, for each workload.

Someone has to understand the whole network: orbital context, data availability, contact opportunities, compute options, constraints, cost. And use that understanding to determine how an objective gets fulfilled. That is the layer Nomos occupies.
Nomos is not a satellite operator, a launch company, a ground-station provider, or a data reseller. The infrastructure can stay heterogeneous. Nomos is the layer that reasons across it, decides how it should work together, and keeps every decision explainable.
The Golden Record lineage
In space, distance makes information expensive. Bandwidth is scarce, passes are brief, and raw data is not always what should move. Intelligence determines what matters, where computation should occur, and what deserves to cross the link. The Voyager Golden Record is our reminder of that discipline.
01 Nomos
Nomos (νόμος) is Greek for law and the ordering principle behind how things are arranged. Orbital infrastructure is a planning problem under contact windows, data availability, policy limits, and processing constraints. Nomos is the intelligence layer that makes those facts legible together.
02 Golden Record
In 1977 NASA bolted a gold phonograph to Voyager. The Golden Record carried the Sounds of Earth so a distant listener could reconstruct meaning from one artifact. Our mark is that disc. Bandwidth is scarce. Only the answer should cross the link.
03 Verification
A mission brief should preserve why a path was selected: the public facts, calculation methods, assumptions, rejected alternatives, and missing integrations. Nomos returns that evidence with the recommendation so the decision can be inspected instead of merely trusted.

Voyager’s Golden Record carried a legible artifact across enormous distance. That discipline matters in orbit, where bandwidth is scarce and contact windows are brief. Nomos determines what matters, where processing belongs, and what evidence must travel with the result.
03 / VERIFICATION
A credible plan states the public facts it used, the geometry it calculated, the assumptions it made, and the integrations it does not have. Nomos makes that evidence part of the mission brief, so a human can challenge the route before anyone acts on it.
Today the product searches public catalogs, calculates orbital and contact geometry, compares feasible infrastructure patterns, and returns a source-backed technical brief. Live provider execution arrives through integrations and is never claimed early.
